Imgex.ai is for lawful, safe-for-work image creation and editing. Imgex.ai does not permit any adult or sexually explicit content. This policy applies to prompts, uploads, reference images, generated results, and use of the service, and forms part of our Terms of Service.
You must hold the necessary rights and permissions for your inputs and their intended use. Artistic purpose, fictional framing, or a request to ignore safety rules does not exempt prohibited content.
We review text prompts and reference images before creating a task or deducting generation credits. Uploaded images must pass review before their links are returned to the user. Generated images must pass a separate review before they are delivered through Studio, Assets, or the download proxy.
Prohibited or uncertain content is blocked. If a required check is unavailable, times out, or produces an invalid response, the request or result is withheld. Generated results withheld by review are recorded as failed and their charged credits are returned automatically. Video generation and video uploads are temporarily unavailable until video-result review is supported.
Automated checks can make mistakes. Passing a check does not grant rights to content or remove your responsibility for lawful use. Existing shareable file links may remain accessible to people who already hold them; do not treat such links as private access controls.
We retain safety-review records and surface blocked and failed checks for operational review. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). A blocked child-safety review suspends the account immediately and terminates its access: active sessions are revoked, and sign-in, generation, and uploads are blocked. We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law enforcement. Repeated blocked reviews for other violations can automatically suspend an account under the same access restrictions. Infrastructure failures alone do not count as violations. Authorized staff can review records, manually suspend accounts, and reverse an incorrect suspension.
We use safety alerts and scheduled synthetic tests of the prompt and image reviewers to identify missed violations, incorrect blocks, and unavailable checks. Tests do not generate prohibited images, create customer generation tasks, or spend customer credits. Failed tests require investigation; tests and automated moderation cannot guarantee that every violation will be detected.
Report suspected violations or appeal a block or suspension at support@imgex.ai. Include the account email or task identifier, a description of the issue, and relevant context. Do not email suspected illegal imagery, including suspected CSAM; describe the issue and provide an existing task identifier instead. We may request information needed to verify the report or appeal.
